Our community is comprised of the diverse culture of South Central Texas. Our families live on the farms and ranches of historic Geronimo, and in the new neighborhoods of the growing metropolitan areas between San Antonio and Austin. The church was founded in 130 years ago deep in the heart of Texas by German pioneers who settled the land as farmers and ranchers and is a historic mainline protestant congregation.
Our congregation is mission-committed through support of many local ministries such as Texas Ramp Project, Christian Cupboard Food Bank and Child Protective Service Angel Tree Project. Our congregation is community- engaged through support of the local Navarro Independent School District and offer well attended community functions including our Friedens Early Learning Academy, monthly Fish Fry, Vacation Bible School, Christmas in July Tea, Trunk or Treat and Thanksgiving Dinner.
