The Multimedia team assists Friedens Church in accomplishing its mission: To bring the message to life with visuals and music. The multimedia team manages and operates multi-media equipment for worship services and other church events as required. The team ensures the hardware, software and all equipment are running properly. The team has knowledge to operate the presentation computers and equipment for worship services including live streaming and posting worship services on platforms like Facebook, YouTube, etc.
Responsibilities:

Follow a rotating schedule, assigning each presentation member to be responsible for multimedia for at least 1 worship service per month.

Arrive 45 minutes prior to any worship service or event requiring multimedia to ensure all software, hardware, and other equipment is functioning properly and to coordinate the worship flow or event needs with pastoral staff.

Have working knowledge of software and hardware and ability to troubleshoot problems.

Read and follow documentation which sets out step by step how to prepare for worship or events.

Work together and communicate to each team member and pastoral staff of changes discovered or problems that could not be resolved.

Update team user documentation when changes occur.

Attend and/or facilitate training sessions as necessary (i.e. new software or hardware is introduced).
