The Board of Christian Education supports Friedens Church by encouraging and facilitating the spiritual growth of all congregants with biblical teachings and mentoring.
General Responsibilities:

Direct and aid the work of the Church Sunday School.

Coordinate the providing of child care during church Sunday school, worship services and other church functions.

Secure and assist in the development of a Sunday School teaching volunteers and Vacation Bible School volunteers

Help individuals strengthen their own personal faith and trust in the Lord through the study of the Holy Scriptures and through prayer.

Support programs of Christian Education in church organizations and in the community.

Ensure a safe, accommodating and nurturing environment for children and youth, instilling confidence and trust that the church is providing excellent, biblically strong discipleship programming for these ages.

Develop and support a variety of adult Sunday school classes and teachers to increase discipleship within the congregation.

Ensure confirmands are properly prepared to become members of Friedens Church through supporting the leadership of the youth ministry leading the programming and mentoring.
