Overview:
The Women of Friedens assists Friedens Church in accomplishing its mission: To unite all of the women of Friedens in Christian fellowship, and with divine help and guidance, to develop an understanding of the work of the entire church, deepen spiritual life, encourage giving, and promote Christian service within the home, the local church, the community, the nation and the world.
Responsibilities:

Provide beverages and desserts for funeral receptions, and assist in serving additional food along with decorating the tables.

Prepare and serve meals before Ash Wednesday/Maundy Thursday service.

Facilitate a prayer chain as needed.

Collect donations to facilitate assistance for the following programs:

Christian Cupboard

Christian Counseling Center

Slumber Falls Camp & Scholarships

Panthers Feeding Panthers

Hand out envelopes for bi-annual Thank Offering to the congregation for projects facilitated by the Women of Friedens.

Celebrate Pastor Appreciation Day

Prepare and distribute Christmas Stockings for Friedens shut-in members.

Organize raffle items for Tea.
-
Facilitate potluck meal on 5th Sundays.
