Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry at Friedens Church meets on Sundays from 5:30-7 pm. We have a meal together every week, play games, have Bible Study, and connect with one another. Sunday evenings are filled with a lot of fun but an equal amount of focus during Bible Study. During Bible Study we look at the scriptures through expository teaching to answer questions about who God is, what He has done for us, our relationship with Christ, and how do we apply it in our lives. Our group is focused on faith, growth, identity, purpose, and fellowship.
Come see us on Sunday Evenings from 5:30-7 pm.
Confirmation Ministry
For 8th graders- High School
The confirmation class begins in September and culminates with Confirmation Sunday on the 1st Sunday in May.
The decision to confirm one's baptismal vows and to become a member of Friedens Church is best made prayerfully. The purpose of the Confirmation Class is to help familiarize students with the basic foundations of the Christian faith as well as, church membership and service.
Confirmation focuses on four major areas:
- The Bible
- Church History
- Faith and Spirituality
- Mission
If you have any questions about Youth, Confirmation, or Christian Education please contact the church office at 830-303-7729.
